There are a plethora of Byzantine churches in the region of Kastelli distinguished by their particular architectural style. We find them in the squares of the villages as well as out in the countryside. Some are built in areas of particular natural beauty, with water springs nearby offering the faithful as well as the visitor a unique place to connect with their spirituality.
