Citizen Service Centres (Κ.Ε.P.)

KEP has been designed and developed in an effort to promote new, innovative practices and services to the citizens in their dealings with Public Administration.

Citizen's Service Centres, in the long lasting course of their operation, are aimed at combating bureaucracy and providing a speedy, flexible, effective and citizen friendly transaction of affairs. In this, they appear to have gained wide recognition among the population.

KEP is based on administrative simplification measures, particularly involving the establishment of  "single points of contact" or "one stop shops" at which service providers can complete the administrative procedures relevant to a range of activities.  

Its effectiveness is proved by the high number of applications to KEP for a series of administrative documents, and the expansion of its service activities to include the provision of electronic management in Greece. 

KEP Citizen's Service Centres are updated daily with the most recent information covering the entire scope of the Public Sector, making it your point of reference for any dealings with public administration. The number of certified procedures that can be submitted and executed through KEP has increased to more than a thousand, and concern various subjects of public administration, some of which are listed below.

Public Administration: Signature authenticity checking, validation of copies of the original documents, information on administrative documents and self appointed search of certificates from the services.

People and communities: Birth, marriage, family, permanent residence certificates; males registration, municipal records, deaths and funerals, passports etc. 

Social Insurance: Health record book, Organisation of Agricultural Insurance (OGA), Insured Civil Servants (IKA), Insurance Fund for Hotel Employees, Pension and Insurance for Health Officers etc.

Social Security: Special seasonal employment benefit and other benefits from OAED (Workforce Employment Organisation), financial aid cards, AMEA (People with Special Needs) cards etc.  

Residence: Matters related to OEK, (Workers Housing Organisation)

Employment: Information on the procedures for employment in Public Services, information on employment from OAED (Workforce Employment Organisation), professional licenses, taxes etc. 

Education: Certificates of study, matters of the Hellenic National Academic Recognition and Information Centre (DIKATSA), certificates of academic equivalence etc.

Military Service: Recruitment Status Certificates, Military Service Deferments, Initial Recruitment etc 

Law and Courts: Criminal records check, non-bankruptcy certificates, payment orders etc.

Transport: Driving licenses, license plates, license renewals, plate replacements etc

Tax Matters: Income taxation, submission of forms E1 and E9, tax certificates, liquidation notices etc  

Agricultural: Applications for compensations, matters relating to new farmers.

Recreation and Tourism: Issuing and renewal of recreation cards, information and applications on the programs of social tourism.
