The region of Kastelli Pediadas has long been a place of human settlement. Today, we may still feel the presence of ancient lives as we follow in their footsteps throughout this evocative region in the heart of Crete. Prehistoric settlements lay beneath the slowly evolving towns and villages we see today, and each turn, each village, tells its own story of Crete's long and turbulent history.
